We are a group of students from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, U.S.A. We are passionate about technology and want to utilize it to make a positive impact on the world. Our goal for this project is to provide safety to the vulnerable people who need it most.
Our Story
In January 2025, our class traveled to Manchester, England, for a study abroad program where we worked in three separate teams. There, we learned about the homelessness crisis and explored websites such as Justlife and Lifeshare. The "Get Me Out" button on these websites inspired our team to create QuickQuit — an exention aimed at offering users an easy escape and privacy in a time of need.
